ITS STORY
History
Halil Paşa was known by the nicknames Kara and Karaca before his term as vizier, and by the title Hayreddin during his term as vizier. He was born in the Çendere village of Sivrihisar district in Karaman, and his father’s name is Ali.

Location and map
The mosque is located in Osmangazi District, Alacamescit Neighborhood, Çandarlı Street, No. 3. The mosque was built by Çandarlı Kara Halil (Hayreddin) Paşa during the reign of Sultan Murad I.
